The English pronounciation of these two words sounds just like the words for "cat" and "mouse" in German. It's the perfect description for the style of music presented in the show and the two men behind the project.

Cuts stand for the cut&paste, breaks and beatz section presented by G(K)regor. He grew up in the 80's with a pop attitude and went over to cutted music in the late 80's/early 90's. Since then he's been looking for the perfect beat travelling through the backcatalogs.

The mouse section is handled by KOnrad. The deeper meaning of the word mouse can be found using mouse-click controlled music programs. They produce exactly the sound you can hear in this part of the show. As an insider of the netlabelscene and one of the heads of http://www.phonocake.org and http://www.piepmatz-records.de he knows the business from the first open-dialog to the last save-button. While the cat and the mouse cannot live together and cannot live without each other G(K)regor and KOnrad have the same relationship.

But it's exactly this relationship that gives you the chance of a satisfactory bandwidth of music.

Hey, call it BEATRONICA!
